RECAP SUMMIT 

On February 1, 2023, Antwerp hosted the first RecAP SUMMIT, a biennial event that will mark the finale for RecAP's acceleration program the first Resielent Cities Acceleration Program. The event was an immediate success and brought the first 9 accelerated startups into a well-deserved spotlight. They had the opportunity to highlight their product and/or service and present it to a wide audience of corporates and investor.

The place to be was the Horta event hall in the center of Antwerp. More than 200 people signed up for the open event, where they could meet with the startups and corporates that formed the first RecAP community. Before the start of the event, more than 50 individual meeting were already organized. A total of 110 companies were welcomed.  The entire event was hosted by the entire RecAP team, and also provided a platform for founding and Platinum partners to showcase their innovative ways of working.

After the captivating pitches, spread over two blocks, interrupted by a break, it was time for extensive networking and interaction. All attendees were able to interact with each other in an absolute accessible way to enable positive partnerships. 

During the general presentation, RecAP gave a recap of what has been going on behind the scenes in order to make the whole process the success it is today.  

Currently, the RecAP team is getting everything ready to form the program for the next startups and corporates. It is of utmost importance to really make the next batch an absolute success for its participants.
